Annual Enrollment is your chance to choose your Partners for Health plan benefits or make changes in your selections that are effective the following Jan. 1.

Open Labs:

Annual Enrollment open lab hours are designed for employees to come with their enrollment questions and receive assistance with the electronic enrollment process. Hours will be from 10am to 2pm on Thursdays and Fridays during Annual Enrollment.

Sick Leave Bank Open Enrollment- October 1 – 31, 2024

The purpose of the Sick Leave Bank is to provide additional sick leave to members who have suffered a serious illness or injury (or their children under age 18) and have exhausted all their personal sick, compensatory, and annual leave, in accordance with Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) and college leave policies.

You must have a balance of 60 hours to join and maintain that balance when the assessment of 22.5 hours is taken in January. Regular part-time employee’s hours are pro-rated.

Complete the following form by October 31, 2024, for membership to become effective January 1, 2025:

TBR Charitable Giving Campaign

Employees can choose several organizations to receive a payroll deduction gift. Donations can be made to the federations (Community Health Charities, Community Shares, or any county United Way), to member/partner charities affiliated with one of the federations, and/or to the independent charitable organizations listed in the 2024 TBR Charitable Giving Brochure.

Little did I know that in a span of six months I would go from relatively healthy to needing life-changing surgery that would keep me out for most of the following semester. Thankfully, I was a member of the sick bank and they helped out once my leave was exhausted.”

“I had been a Pellissippi employee for 5 years when I found myself in need of taking some extended sick leave. Although I had vacation and sick days accrued, I ran out before being able to return to work. As a member of the sick bank, I applied for leave and was approved without question. It was a relief to have the sick bank benefit when I needed them to provide additional days I did not have accrued in my leave balance.”
